Operations update re: lifting of mandatory requirements – starting 03/21/22...
The Ontario government has announced that as of March 21st mask requirements will be lifted in most public settings (including gyms). Therefore, the choice to wear a mask after that date will be a personal one. We kindly ask that our members be tolerant of others who still choose to wear face coverings.
To coincide with the end of the mandatory mask requirement, we will no longer require proof of full vaccination to enter the studio after March 21st.
It was also announced that the Ontario government will change COVID-19 isolation requirements. The updated requirements can be found here.
We owe coming out on the other side of the pandemic to you, our loyal members. Thank you for your support, your positivity and for sticking with us through this difficult time.

Operations update re: proof of vaccination extension – 02/28/22...
At Inspired by Fitness, safety is our top priority. We continue to follow all provincial regulations and public health measures regarding COVID-19 safety. As the province gradually eases restrictions, we will monitor and reevaluate our studio operations to maintain the health and safety of our Inspired community.
While the Ontario government has announced plans to remove proof of vaccination requirements on March 1st, we have decided to keep the proof of vaccine mandate in place until at least April 1st. This decision was not made lightly as we know everyone is keen to move forward; however, we feel this extension is in the best interest of our studio for the time being. Our online operations will remain in place meaning that you can always join your favourite fitness class or training session from the comfort of your own home.
Inspired by Fitness will continue to adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including masking standards, physical distancing, limited capacity and enhanced cleaning protocols.

In-Studio
Do you desire the sense of community and team that in-studio group fitness classes offer? Make sure to follow the guidelines below. In-studio classes are available to members and pass holders.
- Signing up for in-studio classes via WellnessLiving is mandatory. Class size will be limited to 8-9 in-person participants per class; therefore, it is imperative that you sign-up for your desired classes on WellnessLiving at least one hour before the start of class – this will give our team the time to set up classes properly. If you do not sign up for a class and the class is full with registered participants, you will not be able to participate in-person; however, you will still be able to join virtually.
- Cancel in-studio classes if you cannot make it via WellnessLiving. To allow as many members as possible to attend a class in-studio, we will be strictly enforcing our cancellation policy – you must cancel your class two hours prior to the beginning of class; otherwise, you will be charged a $10.00 fee.
- Drop-ins will be limited. We love to welcome new participants to the studio; however, we ask that if you are planning to drop into a class (ie., with the Inspired ACCESS class pass), you let us know before you come so that you will be registered.
Virtual
Do you favour the convenience and perceived safety of a virtual offering? We are pleased to continue to offer our amazing fitness classes virtually. Virtual classes are available only to members.
- Our full fitness class schedule will be offered virtually through our private, members-only Facebook group (by following the exact format that was presented during lockdown).
- Daily reminders for the class schedule will be posted on our public Inspired by Fitness Facebook page, so make sure to follow our page to stay up-to-date.
- If you are joining virtually, you do not need to sign up on WellnessLiving. Just join us live at the scheduled date/time for your favourite fitness class.
- All classes will be archived for one week, with the exception of Zumba, Spin and Bounce.
PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED
Inspired members will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide proof of vaccination along with photo ID (ie., driver’s license, health card or passport) to participate in in-person fitness classes and training sessions at the studio.
- We kindly ask that you bring your proof of vaccination and photo ID every time you come to the studio. Inspired staff will visually verify the documents before entry into the studio and will add you to a manual tracking system. While you will not have to show your proof of vaccination and photo ID after you have been added to our manual tracking system, we feel it is important for everyone entering the studio to always have this information readily available in the event of by-law enforcement.
- Please note individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note and photo ID until recognized medical exemptions can be integrated as part of a digital vaccine certificate. This information will be added to our manual tracking system; however, your doctor’s note and photo ID would need to be brought every time you come to the studio.
- Please also note that proof of a negative COVID-19 test or a recent infection will not replace the vaccine certificates.
OUR ENHANCED SAFETY MEASURES
We are continuously reviewing government guidance and want to ensure your experience at the studio is safe and positive; therefore, we will continue to strictly follow these measures:
- Sanitized equipment and surfaces. In all areas, our team will continue to ensure equipment and surfaces are sanitized to our heightened deep cleaning and disinfecting standards.
- Face coverings. Masks are required while in common areas of the building and studio. This includes building and studio entry/exit points, hallways, washroom, change room, office, classroom and training room (while classes/sessions are not running). Temporary removal of masks and face coverings is permitted only while actively engaging in your fitness class or training session. Amid the rapidly spreading Omicron variant, experts stress the use of N95 masks or cloth masks over 3-ply surgical masks (double masking).
- Physical distancing. Our staff will work to get members into the studio, while maintaining physical distancing practices. Members are asked to enter through the front door of the building and go through the hall to the back door of the studio for entry. To help, ground markers will indicate a safe distance throughout the hall of the building where we will require all members to wait before their class starts. The front door of the studio will remain closed and locked at all times and no entry through that door will be permitted.
- Limit on class sizes. We are following guidance on maximum capacity for our studio space, so our fitness classes will remain smaller in size. It is important that you register for in-person classes on WellnessLiving to ensure your space in class.
- Assigned workout spaces during classes. We have marked our classroom floor with physically distanced squares and staff will direct you to your workout space. We ask that you remain in your square before and during your class. Equipment needed for the class will be placed in each square by staff.
- Clean your equipment and mats. We would appreciate your continued help with wiping down your equipment/mats once you have used it. You will find sanitizing spray and towels in your assigned workout space for you to use.
- Self-screening upon entry. All members must self-screen before entering the studio. Do not enter if: (1) you are experiencing symptoms (please review the sign in the building hallway or back door of the studio); or (2) you have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days; or (3) you have had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19.
- Sanitize your hands. Everyone entering the studio is required to sanitize their hands. Hand sanitizer located at the back door of the studio and at various convenient locations throughout the studio.
- Check-in. Please plan to arrive at least five minutes before your class begins. We will not allow entry beyond the start of class.
- Personal items. We highly suggest bringing only the necessities to class. You will be allowed to store your items in the studio during your class; however, no personal items will be allowed to stay in the studio after you leave. The coat hooks in the front hall of the studio will not be available for use.
- Emergency change room use only. We strongly urge you to come to class ready for your workout. Change room use will be permitted as long as physical distancing practices can be maintained.
- Late entries. Once the studio door closes and class starts, we will not be able to let any members in. Classes will always start promptly at the designated time.
- Staff hospitality and safety. The Inspired Team is here to help, from a safe distance. We have put a protocol in place that limits staff from closely interacting with members before, during and after class. When absolutely necessary, staff will (safely) assist members with equipment requirements but will only do so wearing a mask.
TO OUR INSPIRED COMMUNITY
During these difficult times, we would like to take a moment to thank our Inspired community for your continued support. The past two years have been challenging for all of us, and we could not have made it through without our members, clients and supportive staff. Operations update re: proof of vaccination – 09/06/21...
Last week, the Ontario government announced a mandatory requirement for people to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of their vaccination status to access certain businesses and settings. This approach focuses on higher-risk indoor public settings where face coverings cannot always be worn, and as such, Inspired by Fitness will be impacted.
As of Wednesday, September 22, 2021, Inspired members will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide proof of vaccination along with photo ID (ie., driver’s license, health card or passport) to participate in in-person fitness classes and training sessions at the studio.
We kindly ask that you bring your proof of vaccination and photo ID every time you come to the studio. The government will introduce an enhanced digital vaccine receipt and verification app later this Fall which will make this process easier and more convenient, while protecting your privacy.
If you need to obtain a copy of your proof of vaccination, please follow this link.
Please note individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note and photo ID until recognized medical exemptions can be integrated as part of a digital vaccine certificate. This information will be added to our manual tracking system; however, your doctor’s note and photo ID would need to be brought every time you come to the studio.
Please also note that proof of a negative COVID-19 test or a recent infection will not replace the vaccine certificates.
If you are unable to join us at the studio for in-person classes, remember that you can always join us virtually. All fitness classes are available to members through our private, members-only Facebook group. This is a great way to stay in shape while keeping connected to our community.
We remain supportive of the government’s decisions and will always do what it takes to keep our members safe and healthy. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

- Upon reopening, Spin will only be offered in-studio. Due to some technical glitches, we feel this is the best way to offer this class going forward. If you would like to continue taking this class virtually, please reach out to Julie C to make special arrangements.

Operations update re: in-person classes/training sessions – 05/25/21...
We’ve had a few days to digest the news from the government last week regarding the province’s reopening plan and how it will continue to impact in-person fitness classes and training sessions at the studio.
Our immediate plan, in accordance with current provincial rules and public health measures under the province-wide emergency brake, is to stay the course with online fitness classes being offered via our private, members-only Facebook group and virtual personal/group training sessions.
With a focus on the health and safety of our members and staff shaping our decisions, we will not resume in-person fitness classes and training sessions until it is safe to do so. Therefore, we have made the decision to remain online until Step 3 of the Roadmap to Reopen. We anticipate that in-studio fitness classes and training sessions may resume on or around July 25th.
Thank you for your continued support and patience while we continue to adapt our operations to meet both the health needs of our members and the provincial rules and public health measures.

Operations update re: lockdown extension – 05/13/21...
Today’s announcement from the government has indicated that Ontario’s declaration of emergency and province-wide stay-at-home order will be extended once again until at least June 2nd.
We will continue to stay the course with online fitness classes being offered via our private, members-only Facebook group and virtual personal/group training sessions. We will monitor the situation closely and will advise when we will be able to resume in-studio operations as soon as we are able to.
It’s been a long few months without our beloved in-studio classes! We’ve missed your smiling faces, we’ve missed the camaraderie and we’ve missed the workouts. We cannot wait to get back to the studio in-person again! Thank you all so much for your continued support.

We know it hasn’t been easy, but we want you to take a moment to celebrate your efforts and accomplishments. We will continue to safely support your health and wellness through online fitness until we can all be together again in the studio.

Below are updates to our plans for the lockdown…

Operations update re: studio reopening - 02/22/21...
As of February 16th, Huron Perth Public Health region will be in the ORANGE-RESTRICT level of the provincial COVID-19 response framework. This means that we will be able to reopen the studio to in-person fitness classes and training sessions.
We are thrilled to announce that Inspired by Fitness will reopen on Monday, February 22nd to all in-person fitness classes and training sessions. We will use next week to undergo one last deep clean of the studio to prepare it all for your return on the 22nd.
Since we realize that our members require flexibility now more than ever, we have decided to offer our fitness classes in two ways upon reopening: In-Studio and Virtual. This hybrid model will accommodate the shift in mindset and behaviour this pandemic has presented, as well as offer a new level of convenience and flexibility some members may prefer. And since the recent lockdown has pivoted the fitness landscape, our intention is to offer this model for the duration of the pandemic.
In-Studio
Are you chomping at the bit to get back to the studio for in-person classes? Make sure to follow these guidelines below. In-studio classes are available to members and pass holders.
Virtual
If you aren’t ready to come back to the studio just yet, we understand. We are excited to offer our amazing fitness classes virtually! Virtual classes are available only to members.
Protecting the health of our staff and the wider Inspired community remains our top priority, and we are proud of the measures we have already put in place to ensure the safety of everyone who comes to the studio. To support the safe return of staff and members to our studio, we will continue to strictly follow our safety measures. These measures include:
It is important to recognize that public health information and provincial orders can change quickly, especially with the introduction of the “emergency brake system”. We will do everything we can to update our operations as quickly as possible to accommodate these changes. We remain committed to keeping our Inspired community safe while continuing to serve the physical and mental well-being of our members. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].

In-Studio
Are you chomping at the bit to get back to the studio for in-person classes? Make sure to follow these guidelines below. In-studio classes are available to members and pass holders.
If you do not sign up for a class and the class is full with registered participants, you will not be able to participate.
We love to welcome new participants to the studio; however, we ask that if you are planning to drop into a class (ie., with our Free Three-Class Pass or with the Inspired ACCESS class pass), you let us know before you come so that you will be registered. At this time, we will be only allowing drop-ins from Perth and Huron Counties.
Virtual
If you aren’t ready to come back to the studio just yet, we understand. We are excited to offer our amazing fitness classes virtually! Virtual classes are available only to members.
Protecting the health of our staff and the wider Inspired community remains our top priority, and we are proud of the measures we have already put in place to ensure the safety of everyone who comes to the studio. To support the safe return of staff and members to our studio, we will continue to strictly follow our safety measures. These measures include:
- Sanitized equipment and surfaces. In all areas, our team will continue to ensure equipment and surfaces are sanitized to our heightened deep cleaning and disinfecting standards.
- Face coverings. Masks are required while in common areas of the building and studio. This includes building and studio entry/exit points, hallways, washroom, change room, office, classroom and training room (while classes/sessions are not running). Temporary removal of masks and face coverings is permitted only while actively engaging in your fitness class or training session.
- Assigned workout spaces during classes. We have marked our classroom floor with physically distanced squares and staff will direct you to your workout space. We ask that you remain in your square before and during your class. Equipment needed for the class will be placed in each square by staff.
Hand sanitizer located at the back door of the studio, in the training room and at various convenient locations throughout the studio.

Self-screening reminder...
As we are seeing a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in our province, we would like to remind our members of the importance of self-screening before entering the studio. Please use this picture as a guideline for self-screening each time you visit the studio and do not enter if: (1) you are experiencing symptoms; or (2) you have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days; or (3) you have had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19. (Please note this sign is posted in the building hallway and at the back door of the studio for ease of reference.)
Thank you so much for your cooperation in keeping Inspired by Fitness a safe and healthy environment for all of us to enjoy during these trying times!

Operations update re: class size reductions – 08/20/20…
It has now been a little over one month since we were able to re-open our doors to fitness classes at the studio. It has been so great to see everyone in-person again!
These past few weeks, with our members back in the studio, have given us the opportunity to closely observe our new protocols in action and determine the best path forward to ensure the health and safety of our cherished Inspired community.
As a result, we have made the decision to REDUCE CLASS SIZE TO 10 PARTICIPANTS PER CLASS. This further reduction in class size will allow increased physical distancing within the classroom and the ability to maintain classroom ventilation at manageable levels. This change is effective immediately.
We would like to remind you of our mandatory class registration and class cancellation policy via WellnessLiving. These studio policies are designed specifically to keep everyone as safe as possible and to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
SIGN UP FOR CLASSES VIA WELLNESSLIVING.
With class size now reduced to 10 participants per class, it is imperative that you sign-up for your desired classes on WellnessLiving at least one hour before the start of the class – this will give our team the time to set up classes properly. If you do not sign up for a class and the class is full with registered participants, you will not be able to participate.
CANCEL CLASSES IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT VIA WELLNESSLIVING.
To allow as many members as possible to attend a class, we will still strictly enforce our new cancellation policy – you must cancel your class two hours prior to the beginning of class; otherwise, you will be charged a $10.00 fee.
DROP-INS WILL STILL BE LIMITED.
We love to welcome new participants to the studio; however, we ask that if you are planning to drop in to a class (ie., with our Free Three-Class Pass or with the Inspired ACCESS one-class pass), you let us know before you come so that we can register you. We are still only allowing drop-ins from Perth and Huron Counties.
Going forward, we are committed to closely monitoring our operations and will make adjustments as necessary to ensure the continued safety of our members and staff.

Fitness Classes resume at the studio as of Monday, July 20th - OUR RE-OPENING STANDARDS...
The safety of our Inspired community has always been our top priority, and we are even more focused on it now. As we now have the green light from provincial government officials to resume our fitness classes, we have made changes to how we operate – all designed to keep our members and staff safe. Below are all the changes you can expect. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENT – PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY!
Our Heightened Deep Cleaning & Disinfecting Process
Class Changes
Before Your Class
When You Arrive
During Your Class
After Your Class
Member Responsibility – Keep Each Other Safe
We have put a lot of changes in place – with details beyond what you see here. The way our new safety process will be most effective is if we all make sure to do our part in it!
Please make sure to always practice physical distancing when in shared spaces. Follow the markers placed in the building and throughout the studio to maintain a safe distance.
Remember to avoid touching your hands/eyes/mouth during your workout. When coughing/sneezing, cover your mouth with the inside of your elbow and immediately sanitize your hands.
If you have a cough, fever or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the studio until you are symptom-free and fever-free for three consecutive days.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days or until you have tested negative for COVID-19.
If you feel unwell or have any concerns about coming in for your workout, please stay home and stay safe. If you are unable to cancel your class due to illness, we will happily waive the cancellation fee and welcome you back when you are healthy and feel comfortable coming back.
We are encouraging our members to limit person-to-person contact, including hugs and high-fives. Community and love is in our DNA, but right now, this is the best way to take care of our Inspired members.
Always advocate for yourself. Use your judgement to stay safe and speak to fellow members/staff if you feel your safety is compromised in any way.
It might be a bit overwhelming at first but trust us – as soon as you begin your warm-up, you will find yourself in that familiar place you know and love. That sanctuary you have been needing now more than ever is even safer now, and we can’t wait to see you there!
Moving Forward – We Will Continue To Monitor The Situation
While we are taking every precaution to keep our community safe (and encourage you to do the same), we are acutely aware of and highly prepared for the possibility of a second wave.
In the event that there is a reported case of COVID-19 at the studio and you were potentially in contact with the individual, you will be notified immediately. From there, we will take the necessary safety precautions to disinfect the studio from top to bottom.
With no way to predict what will happen, the best way we can prepare is to respond and evolve as the situation develops – with nothing but your safety in mind.
Always remember that we are here for you! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

Our Heightened Deep Cleaning & Disinfecting Process
- Top-grade disinfectant and more frequent cleaning. Staff will use a disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 in all common areas before and after every class, with a heightened attention to equipment and all high-touch surfaces after every class. Professional cleaners will also be deep cleaning the studio from top to bottom three times per week.
- Disinfecting high-touch surfaces. After every class, we will disinfect doorknobs, handles, counters, light switches, fans, sanitizing stations, benches, bathroom, sinks, toilet, change room and instructor equipment.
- All equipment disinfected. After every class, all equipment placed out for class will be thoroughly disinfected, even if not in use.
- Staff precautions. Staff will be required to wear gloves and face masks when setting up their classes and as the flow of members travels through the studio before and after class. After disinfecting, they will wash their hands before refreshing gloves and masks, as needed.
- High-touch amenities. To limit hand-to-hand contact, we are removing papers (ie., promotional materials, note paper, forms, etc.), individual protein bars, change room toiletries and complimentary phone charging. These items will be in the office and available upon request.
Class Changes
- Reduced class length for certain classes. Some back-to-back classes will be reduced from 45 minutes to 30 minutes in order to allow staff time to disinfect between classes. It is our hope to return these classes to 45 minutes once it is safe to do so. The affected classes are as follows:
- Monday Boot Camp at 9:00 am will now run from 9:00 to 9:30 am
- Monday Boot Camp at 5:20 pm will now run from 5:20 to 5:50 pm
- Monday Zumba at 6:15 pm will now run from 6:15 to 6:45 pm
- Tuesday TripleFIT at 5:20 pm will now run from 5:20 to 5:50 pm
- Tuesday Yoga at 6:15 pm will now run from 6:15 to 6:45 pm
- Wednesday Weights at 9:00 am will now run from 9:00 to 9:30 am
- Wednesday Weights at 5:20 pm will now run from 5:20 to 5:50 pm

- Thursday Body Sculpt at 5:20 pm will now run from 5:20 to 5:50 pm
- Thursday Bounce at 6:15 pm will now run from 6:15 to 6:45 pm
- Attendance at back-to-back classes. If you plan to attend back-to-back classes, we ask that you use the exit and entry measures outlined below. We understand there will be down-time for you in between classes, so we suggest you wait in your car if you are comfortable doing so.
Before Your Class
- Signing up for classes via WellnessLiving is mandatory. Class size will be reduced to 16 participants per class; therefore, it is imperative that you sign-up for your desired classes on WellnessLiving at least one hour before the start of class – this will give our team the time to set up classes properly. If you do not sign up for a class and the class is full with registered participants, you will not be able to participate.
- Cancel classes if you cannot make it via WellnessLiving. To allow as many members as possible to attend a class, we will be strictly enforcing our new cancellation policy – you must cancel your class two hours prior to the beginning of class; otherwise, you will be charged a $10.00 fee.
- Drop-ins will be limited. We love to welcome new participants to the studio; however, we ask that if you are planning to drop in to a class (ie., with our Free Three-Class Pass or with the Inspired ACCESS class pass), you let us know before you come so that you will be registered. At this time, we will be only allowing drop-ins from Perth and Huron Counties.
When You Arrive
- Physical distancing practices.
- Sanitize your hands. Everyone entering the studio is required to sanitize their hands. We will have hand sanitizer located at the back door of the studio, in the training room and at various convenient locations throughout the studio.
- Check-in. Please plan to arrive at least five minutes before your class begins. At this time, we will not allow entry beyond the start of class.
- Assigned personal workout spaces. We have marked our classroom floor with physically distanced squares and staff will direct you to your workout space. Members who arrive first will be assigned to the squares at the back of the classroom and all others will follow suit. We ask that you remain in your square before and during your class. Equipment needed for the class will be placed in each square by staff.
- PPE. Members are not required to wear a face mask and/or gloves while participating in a fitness class. We ask that you strictly observe the above practices for physical distancing and hand sanitization while at the studio. Remember to avoid touching your hands/eyes/mouth during your workout. When coughing/sneezing, cover your mouth with the inside of your elbow and immediately sanitize your hands.
During Your Class
- Staff hospitality and safety. The Inspired Team is here to help, from a safe distance. We have put a protocol in place that limits staff from closely interacting with members before, during and after class. When absolutely necessary, staff will (safely) assist members with equipment requirements but will only do so wearing gloves and a face mask.
- Bounce class. At this time, we will not be lending out Kangoo Jumps shoes for this class – you must have your own pair to participate in the class. You will be responsible for properly fitting your own Kangoo Jumps shoes. If you still need assistance, staff will demonstrate set-up from their square.
- Spin class. You will be responsible for setting up your own bike to avoid contact with staff. If you are a regular rider, you should already know your proper bike set-up. If you still need assistance, staff will demonstrate set-up from their instructor bike.
- Late entries. Once the studio door closes and class starts, we will not be able to let any members in. Classes will always start promptly at the designated time.
After Your Class
- Sanitizing wipes. We will continue to provide disinfectants for you to clean your equipment. These will be placed in your square. We ask that you disinfect your own equipment and leave it in your square along with the sanitizing wipes. Staff will put away everything in the squares after everyone has left the classroom after disinfecting once again.
- Physical distancing practices. Our staff will work to get members out of the studio, while maintaining physical distancing practices. Members will be exited through the back door of the building to avoid any interaction with members arriving for the next class.
- Socializing. To uphold physical distancing practices and to allow staff to clean, we ask that socializing be done outside of the studio.
- Studio shop. Our apparel and supplements will still be available, but we ask that you avoid touching items as much as possible. If you would like to make a purchase, please inform staff.
- Apparel returns. We will not be allowing members to try on items before buying, but we will still accept returns. If you do return an item, it will not be put back on the floor until deemed safe by apparel industry standards.

Following proper health and safety protocols, things will look a little different for a while. Here’s what to expect…
- Enter through the front door of the building and follow the physical distancing markers to the back door of the studio.

- Your trainer will greet you at the back door wearing a fresh face mask and gloves.
- Enter through the back door and sanitize your hands with the provided hand sanitizer.
- Follow the physical distancing markers throughout the studio, always maintaining a 6-foot distance between you and your trainer.
- You may place any personal belongings in a designated space within the studio, and we highly suggest you only bring the necessities to your session. No personal items will be allowed to stay in the studio after you leave. The coat hooks in the front hall of the building will not be available for use.

- Your trainer will guide you to the space that will be used for your workout.
- After your session, your trainer will guide you through the back door of the studio, and you are asked to exit the building through the back door using the physical distancing markers.
We have implemented a heightened deep cleaning and disinfecting process, as follows:
- Top-grade disinfectant and more frequent cleaning. Your trainer will use a disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 in all common areas before and after every session, with a heightened attention to equipment and all high-touch surfaces after every session. Professional cleaners will also be deep cleaning the studio from top to bottom three times per week.
- Disinfecting high-touch surfaces. After every session, your trainer will disinfect doorknobs, handles, counters, light switches, fans, sanitizing stations, benches, bathrooms, sinks, toilets and trainer equipment.
- All equipment disinfected. After every session, all equipment placed out for your session will be thoroughly disinfected, even if not in use.
- Staff precautions. Your trainer will be required to wear gloves and a face mask when setting up the session and as you travel through the studio before and after your session. After disinfecting, your trainer will wash their hands before refreshing gloves and masks, as needed.
- High-touch amenities. To limit hand-to-hand contact, we are removing papers (ie., promotional materials, note paper, forms, etc.), individual protein bars, change room toiletries and complimentary phone charging. These items will be in the office and available upon request.

COVID-19 update re: class registration/cancellation – Planning for our re-opening – 05/26/20…
We know that many of you are anxious to return to our beloved studio to continue on your fitness journey while enjoying the friendship of our Inspired community. We can’t wait to welcome you back with open arms (physically distanced, of course)! Like you, we are waiting for the confirmation of an official date issued by the Government of Ontario. During this pause, we have been actively working to do everything in our power to ensure the safety of our members and staff. For the wellbeing of everyone, new measures will be added at the studio in order to respect the government’s recommendations on hygiene, disinfection and physical distancing. Everything will be communicated to you as soon as a reopening date is determined.
One new process we are able to share with you now is regarding mandatory class registrations and class cancellations via WellnessLiving. These new studio policies are designed specifically to keep everyone as safe as possible and to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
SIGN UP FOR CLASSES VIA WELLNESSLIVING.
Class size will be reduced to maintain physical distancing; therefore, it is imperative that you sign-up for your desired classes on WellnessLiving at least one hour before the start of class – this will give our team the time to set up classes properly. If you do not sign up for a class and the class is full with registered participants, you will not be able to participate.
CANCEL CLASSES IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT VIA WELLNESSLIVING.
To allow as many members as possible to attend a class, we will be strictly enforcing our new cancellation policy – you must cancel your class two hours prior to the beginning of class; otherwise, you will be charged a $10.00 fee.
DROP-INS WILL BE LIMITED.
We love to welcome new participants to the studio; however, we ask that if you are planning to drop in to a class (ie., with our Free Three-Class Pass or with the Inspired ACCESS class pass), you let us know before you come so that you will be registered.
If you have not already set up your WellnessLiving account, now is the time to do so! All registered members and pass holders can access their account in the following ways:
While waiting to see you again at the studio, we invite you to continue your training at home via the content available on our Facebook page and YouTube channel. To date, we have shared over 50 free online workouts to help keep you moving, motivated and on track with your fitness routine.

Update on studio operations - 04/24/20...
Just a quick catch-up with our favourite people to let you know that we are working diligently on our re-opening. We have undertaken an extensive deep-clean of the studio (all while practicing responsible social distancing) and are keeping up-to-date on possible scenarios for how the studio will function when we are able to open our doors again.
Due to the extension of the state of emergency, that date has been pushed back. As soon as we get the all-clear from officials, we will inform you when that re-opening will be. How we re-open will definitely be a new normal for us but rest assured that we are doing everything on our end to provide you with the safest conditions, while still meeting all of your fitness needs.
We are uplifted by the possibility of this coming to an end soon and seeing all of your friendly faces come through the studio doors. Until then, stay safe, be well and keep on rockin' those Inspired To-Go virtual workouts!
