JULIE CHARBONNEAU
Studio Manager / Fitness Instructor Julie has been a Spin enthusiast for several years. In August 2016, she decided to take her love for Spin to the next level and received her Schwinn® Cycling Classic Instructor Certification at the Canfitpro World Fitness Expo. Julie’s passion for creating music playlists to enhance vigorous Spinning drills makes this a “must-attend” class. In January 2017, Julie evolved her role at the studio by becoming the Studio Manager, responsible for organizing and coordinating studio operations, procedures and events in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. She has 25+ years of administrative experience holding positions with the Morrison Centre & Morrison Family Foundation, BlackBerry (Research In Motion), Perth District Health Unit and Open Text Corporation. Julie earned her Human Resources Management diploma from Conestoga College and her Executive Office Administration diploma from Fanshawe College. JENN FACEY
Fitness Instructor Jenn discovered her first Bounce class in 2014 and fell in love with it instantly. Being an avid fitness enthusiast who participates in many different types of workouts, she found Bounce to be the most versatile, positive and fun exercise format to achieve her fitness goals. In February 2020, Jenn participated in a two-day Kangoo Dance Training by Kangoo Jumps course to become a certified Bounce Instructor. She is thrilled to share her love of Bounce with others and motivate them to achieve their fitness goals while having fun. WHITNEY GREEN
Fitness Instructor Whitney has always led an active lifestyle through snowboarding, swimming, hiking, biking and walking her dog. In 2015, her friend invited her to a yoga class, which resulted in her finding her fitness passion. Yoga provided a calm and empowering energy within, which led her to attend as many classes as she could to build her strength, balance and yoga practice. A few years later, it was time to leave her desk job behind and pursue a more fulfilling and active career. Whitney completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She is excited to be able to share her passion of yoga with others by guiding them through their practice and helping them reach their fitness goals. When Whitney is not on her mat, there is a good chance you will find her in the kitchen whipping up some plant-based goodness or curled up on the couch reading a book. JOAN MALONEY
Fitness Instructor Joan has always been a fitness enthusiast, participating in various recreational sports and fitness classes for many years, which led her to become a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer. In October 2005, she decided to make a career change and became the owner of Body Moves Fitness Studio in Stratford, Ontario. During her time at Body Moves, she trained individuals, small groups and teams, instructed a variety of fitness classes, held fat loss and muscle conditioning boot camps and ran running and Nordic walking clinics and specialized group activities. In 2014, Joan decided to pass on her legacy and retire as a full-time fitness instructor/personal trainer. As her love for fitness continues, she enjoys instructing a few days per week at Inspired by Fitness. Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor Sarah has always been passionate about fitness and played team sports and competitive volleyball growing up. She has always longed for a career in health and fitness, but it wasn't until she participated in the Couch To Confident: 12-Week Total Body Transformation & Accountability Program at Inspired by Fitness, that she decided to take action and pursue her dream of working in the fitness industry. After personally experiencing the positive impact and life-changing effects of working with a Personal Trainer, she realized that she wanted to impact other people's lives in the same way. She also wants to lead by example so that her children will grow up living healthy and active lives and show them that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to! Sarah received her Personal Training Specialist certification through Canfitpro in 2018. She is excited to get you moving so that you can achieve your goals and reach your full potential! Fitness Instructor Mitisha (Tish) Smitjes has been instructing Zumba with Inspired by Fitness since 2014. Tish first tried Zumba while on vacation in Cuba and was immediately hooked! At the time, she was on her own personal journey of weight loss and shifting to a healthy lifestyle, and Zumba fit her own needs perfectly. Tish received her Zumba Instructor Certification in 2013 and has loved teaching and taking Zumba classes wherever her travels take her! JULIE WITZEL
Fitness Instructor Julie has been a fitness and sports enthusiast since she was young and has always been active and continues to be active while chasing after her four little ones. She loves trying new things and inspiring others to try new things as well. In August 2017, she completed her certification to become a CORE DE FORCE fitness instructor; an MMA-inspired core workout that leaves you feeling empowered and strong. Julie recently switched gears from a corporate career to focus on her love of fitness and health and became a Canfitpro Certified Personal Training Specialist in 2018.
